About

Ash Huang received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture (focused in ceramics) from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She furthered her praxis at Emily Carr University of Art & Design for her Master of Fine Arts. She apprenticed under woodfire potter Clayton Amemiya in Hilo, Hawaii and recently completed a residency at Red Lodge Clay Center, Montana. Her work explores fluidity through handbuilt ceramics, light, and water.
